Enter Into Rest: Door #1 or #2?
What I learned in being free of migraines
Article From October 2023 Newletter
Our need for God’s feedback on how we stand in faith.
I experience health crisis symptoms.
I believe the Scripture that states “by His stripes I am healed.” God can’t lie and His word is forever settled in heaven.
I pray and believe I receive healing based on “by His stripes I am healed.” Not was, not will be but I am healed. Amen.”
My symptoms grow worse.
I sense anxiety.
I confess that am not moved by what I feel or see. I am the healed not going to be healed.
I continue to thank God I am healed.
My sense my symptoms grow worse.
I sense anxiety.
Transformed from limiting beliefs
Faith is to be persuaded, belief is persuasion.
• A renewed mind holds truth-based beliefs (persuasions).
• A transformed mind able to prove and do God’s will.
• An unrenewed mind holds lie-based beliefs (persuasions).
A confirmed mind trying to unable to prove God’s will
• An example: You ask me to do something for you and I say I will knowing I am way too busy and should say no.
• I am using behavior modification to presentable.
2 Corinthians 4:13 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak.
Hebrews 4:3 For we who have believed do enter that rest,
Door #1: I speak to believe for rest

Door #2: I speak from rested belief

I speak in rested place of believing.
I speak from an existing state of belief.
I will be using my example of God freeing me of migraines (see page on healed of migraines) that I had experienced for 32 years.
Our life is a His classroom where He uses our context of our life to teach.
Door #1: Speaking to Believe and Rest
1. I declare, "I believe I receive healing from migraines."
2. I express gratitude to God and firmly hold my confession of hope: "I am divinely persuaded of my healing. I correctly believe God's written Word that states, 'By His stripe, I am healed.' I am not striving for healing but enforcing the healing I already possess."
3. I repeat step 2 as needed.

Door #2: Speaking from Rested Belief
3. I seek God's feedback on my how I stand (no assuming)! In the case of where I asked God for His feedback on my standing on His word for healing from migraines He responded correcting my assumption. He revealed specific word of wisdom outside of Scripture: "Andy, you are healed. Adjust how you use your back muscles, and you will no longer experience migraines."
4. I speak out the counsel He declare with thanksgiving the counsel God gives me and experience deliverance.
5. No more migraines.
God's Rhema word, which brought my freedom, came after I asked Him for a Rhema word (see page on Rhema and Logos). He had this wisdom all along. He knows our needs before we ask, but I hadn't asked, so I didn't receive it. But assume my solution to stand on His word (Logos) is what I need to do without asking for His perspective feedback word (Rhema) then I have not considered His input! Yuck.
Choosing Door #2: Living by both Logos (God’s written Word) and Rhema (God’s revealed spoken Word),

Didn’t our hearts burn within us as he
talked with us on the road and explained the
Scriptures to us?
(Luke 24:32).
“It takes more than bread to stay alive. It takes a steady stream of words from God’s mouth.”
